Terry Baker

Born in Sydney in 1946, Terry Baker has studied and taught art in Australia and overseas. In 1982 he had made the decision to work exclusively with wood. Terry Baker's works have been exhibited widely in Australia and overseas. He has won numerous awards and his beautiful wooden forms are represented in many public collections, including the Power House Museum Contemporary Australian Craft Collection, the Artbank collection of the Australian Government and in many private collections internationally. In 1995 he was awarded the Churchill Fellowship and studied in the USA, Sweden and the UK.
